CEREC materials match your natural teeth’s composition, which helps it function like natural teeth. Your restorations will contract and expand just like your natural teeth when you consume hot or cold foods or beverages. The chemical bond used to attach the veneers to your teeth ensures a healthy structure, which supports and strengthens your natural teeth.
When you arrive at Limelight Dental for your CEREC One Visit Restoration, we will create a three-dimensional digital model of your cavity, and photograph. The next step is to generate and approximate the shape of the restoration using biogeneric comparisons of the adjacent teeth and the CEREC software. On completion of the design face, the milling unit produces a restoration using a solid block of porcelain ceramic, which is then bonded to your tooth using resin cement.
